Getting to the Chicago Campus

Moody is located in downtown Chicago at:

820 N. LaSalle Blvd.
Chicago, IL 60610

Travel from an Airport

Two airports provide service to Chicago. The bigger airport (and probably the one to which most international flights arrive) is O'Hare; it is to the northwest of Chicago, though still within the city limits. The other airport is Midway, which is located on the southwest side of the city.

From O'Hare Airport

BI Chicago SkylinePick up your luggage at the Arrivals area (lower level) of the O'Hare Airport terminal. Once you have your baggage, there are four ways to get to Moody.

  1. The International Student Office will give you a ride if you arrive on the first day of the new international students and MKs orientation, but you must fill out the Ride Request Form prior to orientation.
  2. Take a taxi. (Cost is approximately $50)
  3. Download a ride share app such as Uber or Lyft.
  4. Take an “Airport Express” van. Cost is $30, and vans run every 10 minutes. They will make stops for other passengers at downtown hotels as well, so this option may take a little bit longer than an individual cab ride. Depending on the traffic, travel time could range from 25 to 60+ minutes. For more information, view their website at www.airportexpress.com or call 800-284-3826.
  5. If you are one for adventure and can handle carrying your luggage on stairs, take the elevated train (the “L”). Board the “Blue Line” train located in the subway airport terminal under the baggage claim area. Take the train downtown to the Clark/Lake stop. Transfer to the “Brown Line” (toward Kimball). Exit the train at the Chicago stop. Exit down the stairs or elevator and walk one block east to the corner of Chicago and Wells Street. Total travel time is about 45 minutes to one hour. Cost is $5, and you must have exact change. For more CTA travel information, you may view their website at www.transitchicago.com.
