Residence Life
Culbertson Hall provides accommodations for Undergraduate male students. Houghton and Smith Halls provide accommodations for Undergraduate female students. Jenkins Hall provides accommodations for Seminary students, married students, and undergraduate students.
At Moody Bible Institute, we believe that living in community is not only an opportunity to learn but also an expectation for Christ followers. We are committed to a Christ-centered residential experience that emphasizes the holistic development of each student. Specifically, our aim is to foster a residence hall environment where students experience caring relationships with people serving one another and encouraging each other to seek Christ and apply His teaching and the life He modeled.
We seek to accomplish this aim by:
- Mentoring student leaders
- Engaging campus culture
- Providing authentic student care and discipline
- Modeling Christ-like leadership
Because we are committed to an engaging residential experience and because we know that students who reside in campus living communities are more likely to persist and graduate, all students who enter into Moody’s B.A. and B.Mus. programs are expected to live in the Residence Halls throughout the duration of their education.
