About the Program

Imagine studying the Book of Acts while sailing the very waters traversed by the Apostle Paul! Join us on an extraordinary study abroad adventure based in Porto Astro, Greece, where you'll set sail on a 90-foot schooner, the Encounter. This unique program combines learning basic nautical skills with an immersive biblical study in its original context. Visit ancient biblical sites and explore local islands as you earn credit for two engaging courses. Supported by Broad Reach Maritime, a ministry of Hellenic Ministries, this program culminates with a week of hands-on involvement in Operation Joshua, a national church planting movement. Dive into this transformative experience where adventure and academic growth go hand in hand!
