MOODY STUDY ABROAD

DEPOSIT PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Deposit payments are $500 for all Study Abroad programs. Deposit payments count toward your program cost and are non-refundable. Students will be fully accepted to a program once their full deposit payment & application are both received.

Deposit payments will be applied to your student bill once the charges for the program are added to your bill.

There are four options available to make the deposit payment. Deposit payments for Study Abroad programs cannot be made online. Please see below for instructions on each payment method. All deposit payments are tracked by the Student Financial Services Office and the Study Abroad Office.

When making your payments for the deposit, please be sure to include

  1. The account number: 11-0000-25830
  2. The program name: Moody in Greece OR Moody in Israel OR Moody in the United Kingdom
  3. The term: J-Term 2024 OR Summer 2024
  4. Your full name
  5. ID number

PAY BY CHECK:

Checks must be made out to Moody Bible Institute and turned into Student Financial Services.

Please be sure to write in the memo line:

FIRST & LAST NAME | ID NUMBER

If sending a check from off campus, please keep in mind that both the application and deposit payment must be received to secure a spot. Please send studyabroad@moody.edu an e-mail confirming the date the check was mailed as well as the check number.

PAY WITH CASH:

Cash payments can be made at the Teller Window on the fourth floor of Crowell Hall during their business hours. The Teller is open Monday and Wednesday mornings, 8 a.m. until noon. Please be sure to have the teller allocate the cash to the following account number: GL: 11-0000-25830

Please take a picture of the receipt from the Teller and email it to studentfinancialservices@moody.edu and copy studyabroad@moody.edu under the title 2024 Study Abroad Deposit.

PAY WITH CREDIT/DEBIT CARD*:

To make a credit card payment please call Student Financial Services at (312) 329-4223. Request assistance to pay the study abroad deposit for the program you are applying for. Once you receive a receipt for your payment, please send a copy to studyabroad@moody.edu

*Please note that all credit/debit card payments will be charged a 2.85% service fee. 

PAY WITH AN AUTOMATIC BANK WITHDRAWAL (ACH):

To avoid this 2.85% credit card fee, you can make an automatic bank withdrawal payment by filling out the internal ACH Form requesting to make a deposit payment using your checking or savings account information.  Please sign the form with a handwritten signature.  Once the form is completed, please email studentfinancialservices@moody.edu and copy studyabroad@moody.edu under the title 2024 Study Abroad Deposit.
