MOODY STUDY ABROAD

DEPOSIT PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Deposit payments are $500 for all Study Abroad programs. Deposit payments count toward your program cost and are non-refundable. Students will be fully accepted to a program once their full deposit payment & application are both received.

Deposit payments will be applied to your student bill once the charges for the program are added to your bill.

There are four options available to make the deposit payment. I recommed using the Automatic Bank Withdrawl (ACH) method as there are no fees accociated with this method of payment. Please see below for instructions on each payment method. All deposit payments are tracked by the Student Accounts Office and the Study Abroad Office.

When making your payments for the deposit, please be sure to include

  1. The account number: 11-0000-25830
  2. The program name: Moody in Greece OR Moody in Europe OR Moody on a Boat
  3. The term: Spring Break 2025 OR Summer 2025
  4. Your full name
  5. ID number

PAY WITH AN AUTOMATIC BANK WITHDRAWAL (ACH): 

To avoid this 2.85% credit card fee, you can make an automatic bank withdrawal payment by filling out the internal ACH Form requesting to make a deposit payment using your checking or savings account information. This form can be filled out and submitted online. I highly recommend using this method of payment!

PAY BY CHECK:

Checks must be made out to Moody Bible Institute and turned into Student Accounts.

Please be sure to write in the memo line:

FIRST & LAST NAME | ID NUMBER

If sending a check from off campus, please keep in mind that both the application and deposit payment must be received to secure a spot. Please send studyabroad@moody.edu an e-mail confirming the date the check was mailed as well as the check number.

PAY WITH CASH:

Cash payments can be made at the Teller Window on the fourth floor of Crowell Hall during their business hours. The Teller is open Monday and Wednesday mornings, 8 a.m. until noon. Please be sure to have the teller allocate the cash to the following account number: GL: 11-0000-25830

Please take a picture of the receipt from the Teller and email it to student.accounts@moody.edu and copy studyabroad@moody.edu under the title 2025 Study Abroad Deposit.

PAY WITH CREDIT/DEBIT CARD*:

To make a credit card payment please call Student Accounts at (312) 329-4223. Request assistance to pay the study abroad deposit for the program you are applying for. Once you receive a receipt for your payment, please send a copy to studyabroad@moody.edu
