About the Program
While in Argentina, students will serve with Joni & Friends church partners who will allow students to be exposed to the needs of people with disabilities in an international context. They will serve at two Joni & Friends International Family Retreats where they will be able to help families by sharing God's love and offering hope to those who have been impacted by disability. Many of these families are facing extordinary challenges as well as exculsion from local community life. Interns will model inclusion as they serve as buddies to these campers, while their caregivers receive much needed respite. Camp programs consist of samll group discussions, arts and crafts, recreation and games, Bible stories, and more!
All interns are granted an opportunity to use their gifts and skillsets to serve their team and people affected by disability.
