The Loaves and Threads Storehouse
Mission and Purpose
The Mission of the Loaves & Threads Storehouse is to combat food insecurity and clothing needs among all students, both on and off campus at Moody Bible Institute. Students at Moody Bible Institute come from a plethora of backgrounds, and our aim is to assist those who may be facing personal and/or financial hardship. During this time, it is especially important that students have enough to eat and comfortable, clean clothes to wear.
We gladly accept donations of non-perishable food items, clothing, and other household items for students and their families.
How it Works
This service of free food exists only due to voluntary donations given to the Loaves & Threads Storehouse by people in the Moody community. This means that our supply of food and clothing selection is limited, that we offer only what we have been given, and that we work hard to make sure that this limited supply assists as many students as possible. Any and all students may come during our office hours to browse and take what they need for themselves and their families where applicable.
