Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
—John 14:6
We believe that teens empowered with God’s truth can change lives. The XJ Conference offers youth pastors and their high school students an unforgettable experience that intertwines a love for Jesus and the Bible with hands-on training methods. The result? Teens are equipped to reach their unsaved family and friends while helping the believers in their lives grow in their faith.
During this weeklong event you’ll experience Jesus like never before and connect with students from all over the nation. Each day you’ll receive training that will help you live for Jesus and tell others about Him.
Our prayer for XJ is that students will have a life-changing encounter with Christ, to KNOW Him more deeply, LOVE Him more passionately, and SHARE Him more generously!
Students and their youth leaders will stay on Moody’s downtown campus in a double-occupancy room. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided Tuesday through Friday, except for Wednesday dinner when students will enjoy dinner in Chicago at their own expense.
Students will spend time ministering and sharing the good news with others in Chicago. When they return home they will be equipped to witness to their friends and family with their newfound confidence and evangelism skills. Our main goal for XJ is to teach students that the gospel is more than just a message—it’s the person of Jesus Christ! As student’s hearts are changed with this truth, we believe it will change the culture of their youth groups, fanning the flames of disciple making and igniting a life of mission!
The XJ conference is sponsored by Sonlife and Moody Bible Institute.
